188 – Mercy

A lot of people seem to be confused about the meanings of mercy and grace in relation to their lives. They work closely together but they are not the same thing. This message will clarify the difference so you can take full advantage of God’s grace as well as His mercy.

187 – Melodye Perry-Teamer

Using the story of the Shunamite woman who made an upper room for Elisha the prophet, Melodye shares how we also can make room for the Holy One in our lives. This woman was actually making room for God, His anointing and His Spirit. When we make room for Him signs, wonders and miracles will follow and they are evidence that we have made room for Him.

186 – The Big Rocks

There are certain things in life that are so important that we must find the time and the resources to make them part of our normal routine. If we don’t prioritize these few things then less important things will get in the way and we won’t be as blessed as we could.

183 – Look, Touch, Read

This message gives three ways to access the power of God for any need in our lives using three clear examples – two from the Bible and one from the life of a friend. Those examples include when the Israelites looked on the serpent on a pole, when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and how God honored His word and took care of an inoperable brain tumor.

182 – How Do I Pull That Off? Don’t Get Angry

We talked about not worrying, and that’s pretty challenging and, about loving your enemies, which is on its own level of ‘crazy talk’ when you first look at it. If He had said, “Ignore your enemies,” I believe we would think Him to be a likeable guy who gave good, practical advice. But Jesus skips over those levels, right on past “tolerate your enemy”, and “like your enemy” and straight to “love your enemy.” How do I […]

180 – How Do I Pull That Off? Do Not Worry

One of Jesus’ sayings that must have seemed unreasonable to those listening was when He said, “Do not worry.” This is actually humorous if you consider the setting. He’s just told them they have to be holier than the holiest people they know to enter the Kingdom of God; being angry at someone is as bad as committing murder, and, lusting in your heart is the same as committing adultery. Then He says, “Don’t worry!”

179 – How Do I Pull That Off? The Unreasonable Jesus

You may be familiar with the Sermon on the Mount. In the midst of that message, we find some of Jesus’ most famous sayings. But if we tend to imagine Jesus surrounded by sunshine and rainbows, with bluebirds on his shoulders, we’re wrong. We’re going to take a closer look at the challenging, sometimes downright unreasonable sayings of Jesus, things that most people would ask, “How Do I Pull That Off?”
