Barbara was born in Northern California to Christian parents that insisted upon church attendance and memorization of scripture at a young age.  Those words of spirit and life caused Barbara to grow into a compassionate, ministry minded woman.  Over the years Barbara has participated in a variety of community and church outreach events.  When asked what the most obvious thing is about Barbara, some have remarked that she is a ‘smiler’.  Barbara has a smile for everyone and seems undeterred if it is not returned.  Her love for the Lord causes a genuine love for those made in His image.  She lives to share that love as much as possible.

Besides her role managing Church Operations for Living Well Church, Barbara Steen is Subcontract Administrator at a local aerospace company.  At the time of this writing, she has had a thirty plus year career in the aerospace industry in procurement & supplier management related functions with increasing technical and financial responsibility.
